Car Wash Business Terms of Service

These Car Wash Business Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the business portal, dashboard, payout system, and all related features provided through the platform (“Services”).
These Terms form a binding agreement between you (“Car Wash”, “you”, “your”) and the platform operator (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By registering a business account, completing onboarding, or using any part of the business portal, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and Registration
To use the Services as a car wash, you must:
Operate a legitimate car-wash business
Be legally able to enter a binding agreement
Provide accurate business information during onboarding
Complete required identity and business verification checks
Hold any licences, permits, or insurance required by local law
You agree that all information you provide is true, complete, and up-to-date.
We may suspend or reject accounts that appear fraudulent, incomplete, or non-compliant.
2. Business Account
To access the dashboard, you must create a business account using:
A valid email address
A chosen password
Your business details
Payout information via Stripe Connect
You are responsible for:
Keeping your login secure
All activity under your account
Ensuring only authorised staff access the dashboard
Immediately reporting unauthorised access
We are not liable for damage caused by compromised or mishandled credentials.
3. Stripe Connect and Payouts
All payments made by customers are processed securely through Stripe.
To receive payouts, you must:
Complete Stripe Connect onboarding
Provide required KYC information
Agree to Stripe’s own Terms of Service
Ensure your payout bank details are accurate
You authorise us and Stripe to:
Process transactions on your behalf
Deduct any applicable platform fees
Transfer funds to your verified bank account
Carry out fraud checks and identity verification
If you fail Stripe’s verification checks, payouts cannot be made until resolved.
4. Pricing and Services Offered
You control the prices of your washes and services.
By listing these services on the platform, you agree that:
Prices displayed are accurate and inclusive of VAT (if applicable)
Descriptions of wash packages are correct
Services purchased by customers will be honoured
Any changes to pricing or opening hours must be updated promptly
Incorrect or misleading service descriptions may result in suspension.
5. Customer Payments
When a customer pays through the app:
The platform charges the advertised wash price
The platform may charge a separate service fee to the customer
The car wash receives its portion via Stripe payout
You agree not to request cash or alternative payment for a wash already paid through the platform
Payments are split automatically; you do not handle card details.
6. Wash Completion and Verification
You are responsible for:
Checking a customer’s registration number
Verifying the wash purchased
Delivering the correct wash as described
Marking the wash as completed (if required by the system)
If you are unable to verify a customer due to unclear registration, misuse, or technical errors, you must inform the customer before starting service.
7. Refunds and Disputes
Refunds
Refunds may be issued when:
The wash was not provided
There was a technical failure
Payment was taken in error
Refunds for service quality are handled at the discretion of the platform.
You agree not to:
Provide cash refunds directly
Ask customers to dispute charges with their bank
Issue alternative compensation without platform approval
Disputes
If a customer raises a dispute:
We will review all available information
You must cooperate by providing truthful details
Payouts may be temporarily withheld during investigation
Our decision in a dispute is final.
8. Behaviour and Conduct
You agree not to:
Abuse or harass customers
Misrepresent services or pricing
Attempt to bypass the platform’s payment system
Encourage off-platform payments to avoid fees
Create fake orders or manipulate sales data
Use the platform to promote unsafe or illegal services
Violations may result in suspension or account termination.
9. Service Standards
You are responsible for:
Delivering services at a reasonable standard
Operating in a safe, professional manner
Maintaining suitable equipment and staffing
Ensuring the site is clean and safe for customers
Following applicable UK health and safety laws
Failure to maintain appropriate service standards may result in account suspension.
10. Opening Hours and Availability
You must:
Keep your listed opening hours up-to-date
Promptly update closures, holidays, or staff shortages
Only accept customers during operational hours
If a customer arrives during listed hours and service cannot be provided, you must notify them immediately.
11. Platform Fees
The platform may charge:
A fixed or variable service fee
Additional charges as outlined during onboarding
Promotional or optional advertising fees (if applicable)
Fees are subject to change; prior notice will be provided.
You agree that fees may be deducted automatically from payouts.
12. Data Protection
You agree to comply with applicable data protection laws.
You may only access limited customer information (such as registration numbers) for the purpose of verifying and completing washes.
You must not:
Collect additional personal data
Store vehicle details beyond what is necessary
Share customer information with third parties
Use customer data for marketing without explicit consent
Misuse of customer data will result in immediate termination.
13. Intellectual Property
All rights in the platform, including:
Software
Branding
Layout
Interface
Text and media
remain the exclusive property of the platform operator.
You may not:
Copy or duplicate any part of the platform
Attempt to reverse engineer any system
Use trademarks without permission
Create competing services using platform content
You are granted a limited licence to use the business portal for legitimate purposes only.
14. System Availability
We aim to keep the platform operational but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
You acknowledge that:
Downtime may occur
Updates may temporarily disable features
Errors or delays may affect orders or payouts
Third-party services (Stripe, Firebase, Google Cloud) may fail unexpectedly
We are not liable for losses caused by downtime or technical issues.
15. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”
No warranty is given regarding uninterrupted service
We are not liable for loss of revenue, profits, customers, goodwill, or business opportunities
We are not liable for damage to vehicles, equipment, or property
We are not responsible for disputes between your staff and customers
Our total liability is limited to the amount of platform fees paid by you in the previous 12 months
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against all claims, losses, damages, costs, and expenses resulting from:
Your use of the platform
Your breach of these Terms
Violations of law
Misconduct by you or your staff
Misuse of customer data
False, misleading, or inaccurate business information
17. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
You breach these Terms
Verification fails or legal requirements are not met
Fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected
You misuse the platform or encourage off-platform payments
You fail to maintain operational or service standards
Required by law or regulatory authority
Termination does not affect previously processed transactions.
18. Changes to the Services
We may modify, update, or discontinue parts of the platform at any time.
This includes:
Features
Pricing models
Dashboard functionality
Supported payment methods
Advance notice will be provided where possible.
19. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically.
You will be notified of major changes.
Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.
